Lokiriama – June 12, 2026 (Public Communications and Media Relations)
The County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health and Sanitation Services, Dr. Esekon Joseph Epem, assessed the operational readiness of the newly constructed Locherekuyen Dispensary. This was during his service delivery supervision in Lokiriama Sub-County.
Following the assessment, Dr. Epem authorised the immediate relocation of health services to the new facility, pending its official commissioning.
He called on health workers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and quality service delivery, while assuring them that an additional consignment of essential medicines would be supplied. He noted that the facility currently has adequate drug stocks to support service provision.
Dr. Epem reaffirmed the County Government’s commitment to strengthening primary healthcare infrastructure to ensure accessible and quality health services for all residents.
Present during the visit were Area MCA Hon. Mark Amojong and Sub-County Medical Officer of Health Richard Lowoto, among other officials.
