Horn of Africa Ground Water for Resilience (HoAGW4R) project team and Cas Consultants today inspected four Rural Water projects at Kaitese, Nariamao, Nangolekuruk and Loturtur.

Charles Ekeno, the HoAGW4R County Project coordinator said the inspection was a deliberate move to check on quality of the ongoing works and compliance with environmental, social and public health safeguards.

The CPC emphasized the need to deliver projects that serve the purpose while remaining fully compliant with set standards.

“Every project under the Horn of Africa program must not only provided reliable access to clean water but also comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. This is the only way to ensure the investment benefits the generations,” he said.

The inspection team revealed marked improvements on compliance standards as compared to previous inspections, urging the contractor to uphold the set standards.
