The immediate former County Executive Committee Member for Agriculture, Livestock Development and Fisheries, David Erukudi, has taken over the Department of Trade, Enterprise, Cooperative, Gender and Youth Affairs.
This follows a recent reshuffle last week, in which CECM David Erukudi was moved from Agriculture to Trade. After taking over, the incoming Trade Executive promised to drive the Governor’s Development Agenda through lobbying for additional allocation to the Youth, Women, Biashara, and Cooperative Development Funds to enhance support to SMEs in the County.
The outgoing CECM Loote, told her colleague to take into account the pending work on policy documents and a list of cooperatives awaiting registration.
