Deputy Governor of Turkana County, Dr John Erus, officiated the opening of an Induction Course for Chief Officers from the county at the Kenya School of Government, Lower Kabete. He expressed confidence in his team’s ability to fulfil the County’s mandate and effectively oversee projects aligned with the Government’s manifesto. He emphasized that the training would serve as their guiding armour, enabling them to become the County’s finest ambassadors.
“We must collaborate to achieve the vision of the county government. Our agenda is one, and it is to ensure the nine-point agenda delivers for the Turkana people,” Dr Erus stated, urging the Chief Officers to make the most of the course and recognize that their contributions play a crucial role in transforming Turkana as part of the nine-point agenda.
He affirmed that the appointed Chief Officers were highly qualified for their roles. Dr Erus presented them with the challenge of being prepared for the significant tasks ahead.
The Deputy Governor was received by Dr Rachael Ngesa, the Director of Learning and Development at KSG.
