Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai has signed into law the Appropriation Bill, 2023 today.

The Appropriation Bill authorizes the County Government to spend Ksh 14.5 billion, as approved in the budget for the 2023/2024 financial year, to implement development programs.

In the first budget of his administration, the Governor has prioritized the implementation of the Nine-point Development Agenda.

The total budget is allocated with Ksh 9.3 billion for recurrent expenditure and Ksh 5.2 billion for development expenditure.

The signing was witnessed by Speaker of the County Assembly Christopher Nakuleu and Clerk of the County Assembly Linus Lokawa Miinyan.
