Nairobi, 6th September 2023 (Governor’s Press Service) — Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Zhou Pingjian, the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya, yesterday.

During their meeting at the Chinese Embassy in Nairobi, they discussed opportunities for cooperation between China and Turkana County in the fields of business development and technology.

Ambassador Zhou pledged to visit Turkana County soon and contribute Sh2 million worth of relief food to support the county’s relief efforts.

Accompanying the Governor were Chief of Staff Peter Yoromoe, Chief Officer for the Office of the Governor Paul Lodung’a, Director of Liaison Services Joel Mwita, and other staff based in the Liaison Office.
