COUNTY INTERNSHIP SUITABILITY INTERVIEWS CONCLUDE IN TURKANA

At least 607 candidates shortlisted for the position of County Interns have successfully completed the suitability test to pave the way for the appointment of 200 to the six-month program.
The Internship Program is a Turkana County-led initiative aimed at integrating youth into the government working system to gain experience useful in the job market.
The successful interns will include those in possession of the degree, diploma, and artisanal certificates(Plumbing & piping, electrical, etc.).
This is usually done twice in a financial year.
The Human Resource Management of the Public Service Board, Joseph Ngatotin said the intake will be based on merit and warned the candidates against lobbying as that would constitute canvassing leading to automatic disqualification.
The current team is expected to be appointed to the Internship Program in October 2023.
Senior HR Officers including CHRP Peter Kebo, Jennifer Ekidor, and Reuben Ekuwom took part in the exercise.
