ECDE Centres in Turkana have got a major boost after Save the Children donated many learning materials for young learners to enhance their education.

Speaking today after receipt of the materials, the ECDE Director, Ezekiel Kulal, confirmed that the consignment included 300 ECD learning kits, 135 play mats, and 300 learning charts.

He added that the learning kits would go a long way to enrich the learning experience of the young learners by providing them with a choice and a variety of materials.

Noting that Save the Children had been working closely with the ECDE Sector, the Director lauded the move that comes after the County played host to the 5th National ECDE Conference in Lodwar.

The Program Manager Abdalla Sheriff, in the company of Smell Moses (Humanitarian Manager) and White House Ngilimo (Program Support Officer), presented the donations to the County Director

The ECDE Administrator Alice Akiru was also present during the event.
