Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai arrived in Kalokol to lead celebrations to mark the 60th Mashujaa Day.

County Commissioner Jacob Ouma, Deputy Governor Dr John Erus, Speaker of the County Assembly Christopher Nakuleu, Turkana Central MP Emathe Namuar and Woman Representative Cecilia Ngitit are among leaders attending the ceremony.

The Governor, who is accompanied by County First Lady Lillian Ekamais, is presiding over the national holiday celebrations currently ongoing in the lakeside town.

The theme of this year’s Mashujaa Day is ‘Universal Health Coverage – Afya Nyumbani’.

Senior County Government officials present are led by Deputy County Secretary Joseph Nyang’a and include a host of County Executives and Chief Officers.
