COUNTY, IRC CONDUCT JOINT SUPERVISION OF INTEGRATED EMERGENCY DROUGHT RESPONSE PROGRAMS IN LOIMA

The County Government through the Department of Health and International Rescue Committee (IRC) has concluded a five-day joint Monitoring and Evaluation of Integrated Emergency Response programs in Loima.
The exercise sought to determine areas that required corrective interventions for strengthening service delivery to the people in Loima.
It also collected feedback from the community on the services provided over the project implementation period.
The monitoring and evaluation exercise was conducted on six health facilities (Kabulokor, Lorugum, Turkwel, Napeililim, Nasiger, and Lomil) and their corresponding integrated outreaches, with a focus on health, nutrition, social protection, and food assistance.
The team had a good time interacting with communities of the health improvement services including, supply of nutritional supplements, cash transfer, and social protection.
Similar assessments will be conducted in Turkana West and Turkana South Sub-counties.
