COBBLESTONE TRAINEES END THE TERM WITH SPORTING ACTIVITY

Trainees of the cobblestone technology at Lodwar Vocational Training Centre (LVTC) ended their term through a competition between them and the visiting World Vision team in a one-day soccer competition to mark the end of the September-December 2023 learning period.
The game also served as a build-up for the trainees in readiness for next year’s inter-vocational centre sporting competition.
The Lodwar LVTC won the soccer and athletics competition in the just concluded event on Friday.
Speaking after the event, Director for Vocational Training Stephen Eregae, said that the tournament was a deliberate move to nurture sporting talents within the Vocational training centres.
He congratulated the winning team and promised to organize more visiting teams to play with the centres, to improve the viability of the inter-vocational sporting events and make them engaged to grow talents.
Loyapan Jeremy (Deputy Director, Vocational Training) John Karanja (Asst Director) Daniel Esekon (Centre Manager) and Christopher Etoot (Administrator) were also present.
