In a bid to tackle the pressing issue of menstrual hygiene in Turkana County, K DE IGRATIUM International (KDII) has today donated 250 reusable sanitary towels aiming to support school-going girls who cannot afford safe menstrual hygiene products.

Received by the Deputy Governor, Dr John Erus at the county Headquarters on behalf of the County Government, this donation was handed over by the Director at KDII, Mary Kibugi. The Chief Officer, of Preventive and Promotive, Peter Lomorukai was also present.

This initiative exemplifies the transformative power of social enterprises in driving positive change at the grassroots level.

We encourage more private-public partnerships and collaborations in Turkana towards improving the quality of life for the residents of Turkana.
