The Deputy County Secretary, Joseph Nyang’a today officiated a 3-day joint work planning workshop between the County Executives and the International Cooperation Agency of the Association of Netherlands’ Municipalities (VNG International) at Lokichar, Turkana South.

The workshop aimed to discuss the potential and actual role of county government in migration policy implementation and socio-economic development, to jointly develop an implementation work plan for Turkana County.

In his remarks, DCS commended the VNG International team for their commitment to work with the County Government ahead of the official launch in Turkana later in the month.
