The Lodwar Municipality team, led by Deputy Manager Simon Nangiro, conducted a spot check on various ongoing projects within Kanamkemer and Township wards as part of the Fiscal Year 2023/24 oversight.

The team visited key projects, including the Nawoitorong stalls, Kanam Fire Station, Metheuwan Market, the recreation park in Kanamkemer, Moi Garden Stadium gravelling, Nayanaankalalio solid waste dump site, and California Market.

He emphasized that these regular inspections are crucial for monitoring the progress of municipal projects and ensuring proper waste management practices are upheld.

“Regular spot checks are essential in ensuring that our projects are progressing well,” Nangiro stated.

The deputy manager that collecting feedback from the community is vital for identifying areas that need improvement and making necessary adjustments to promote the long-term sustainability of these projects.
