The Lodwar Fresh Produce Savings and Credit Cooperative Society has officially launched operations following the elections of its management committee and the handover of the society’s certificate.
The significant milestone targeting to benefit traders at the Lodwar Fresh Produce Market happened during the cooperatives’ inaugral general meeting.

Speaking at the event, the County Director for Co-operatives Development and Marketing, Shemmy Ekuwom urged members to capitalize on the cooperative’s platform to access additional funding from the SACCO in addition to County government grants and loans, as well as other financial institutions, to enhance their business growth.
