ROSELYNE AITE TAKES OVER AS TURKANA COUNTY’S CECM FOR TRADE, GENDER, AND YOUTH AFFAIRS

Roselyne Aite has officially assumed the role of County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Trade, Enterprise Development, Gender, and Youth Affairs. The handover ceremony, presided over by Deputy County Secretary Joseph Nyang’a, marked a smooth transition.

CECM Aite received official documents symbolizing her new mandate and pledged to build upon her predecessor’s achievements. She emphasized a focus on inclusive development, particularly for women and youth involved in trade and enterprise.

Chief Officer for Trade and Enterprise Development Pauline Tang’arae and Chief Officer for Youth Affairs Joseph Epuu assured the CECM of full departmental support and pledged to collaborate to drive the department’s agenda forward.

The handover ceremony was attended by the entire department staff, with Deputy County Secretary Nyang’a emphasizing the importance of collaboration and partnerships with stakeholders.
