The County Government in collaboration with partners have heightened surveillance and rapid response following the reported Cholera outbreak in Kalobeyei Settlement, Turkana West this past weekend.
The Department of Health and Sanitation has been holding frequent Situation Report (SITREP) meetings with partners to share updates and discuss progress.
Joint coordination and logistics measures are in place to ensure timely delivery, storage, and distribution of vaccines and medical supplies.
Several strategies to increase awareness creation are ongoing to enhance community dialogue and promote water treatment at the household level and in schools.
