The Financing Locally-Led Climate Change Action (FLoCCA) officers have completed an inspection on two water projects in Elelea and Morulem, Turkana East Sub-County.

The projects, designed to strengthen residents’ resilience against climate shocks, includes boreholes, solar-powered pumping systems, and community water point.

“The FLoCCA committee remains hopeful that the project will be completed in accordance with the laid down specification. This assessment has shown that the works are going according to plan,” said George Emase, Director for Climate Change and inspection lead.

Turkana East Sub-County Water Officer Henry Eipa, Katilia Ward Administrator Francis Achuka, and FLoCCA project finance support team were present during the inspection committe.
