Following the recent Executive Order by H.E the Governor on the redeployment of County Chief Officers, JaneRose Tioko, has officially assumed office as Chief Officer for Partnerships.
Previously Chief Officer, Preventive and Promotive Health, she takes over from Ebei Winstone, who has been redeployed to the Directorate of Public Works.
The handover ceremony was presided over by Deputy County Secretary Dr Albert Gamoe, who commended both officers for their exemplary service. He urged them to uphold professionalism, foster collaboration, and promote innovation in delivering on Turkana County’s development agenda.
“The redeployment of Chief Officers is aimed at improving service delivery, fostering knowledge sharing, and injecting fresh energy into our departments,” the DCS said.
Dr. Gamoe also applauded the Partnerships Department staff for their dedication to building strong collaborations and developing resource mobilization frameworks that continue to support the County’s development goals.
Outgoing Chief Officer Ebei Winstone expressed gratitude to the department for their commitment, highlighting achievements in forging local and international partnerships that have enhanced service delivery and mobilized development financing.
Incoming Chief Officer JaneRose Tioko thanked the county’s leadership for the trust placed in her and pledged to build on the department’s successes by strengthening partnerships, fostering innovation, and promoting inclusive growth.
The Deputy Director for Resource Mobilization, Partnerships and Donor Coordination Mike Aupe, among other officers, witnessed the handover.
