County certifies completion of Lopur–Angeles–Kalemung’orok road maintenance project

The Department of Roads has successfully conducted a final inspection of the 13-kilometre Kalemung’orok Junction–Angeles–Lopur Road maintenance project to assess the completed works and verify compliance with approved specifications and engineering standards.

The inspection team, led by Supervising Engineer Eng. Emmanuel Amodoi, confirmed that all works were completed satisfactorily and in accordance with the contract requirements and instructions issued during implementation.

The completed works included: Installation of two publicity signboards, site clearance covering 16,166 square metres, and grading works covering 91,000 square metres.

The team noted that the contractor successfully delivered all activities within the project scope, ensuring the road meets the required standards for improved accessibility and mobility.

The rehabilitation and maintenance of the road is expected to strengthen connectivity between communities, ease the movement of people and goods, and improve access to essential services.

Assistant Supervising Engineer Adan Isaak, commended the contractor for adhering to approved specifications and maintaining high-quality workmanship throughout the project period.

Following the inspection, the project was officially certified as complete, with the team confirming that the entire scope of work had been successfully achieved.
