The three-day exercise was conducted in accordance with Section 7(2) of the Community Land Act, 2016, following the issuance of a public notice inviting all members of the respective communities to attend and participate in the democratic election of the Community Land Management Committees.
During the exercise, each of the three communities elected 15 members to serve on. The election process adhered to the provisions of the Community Land Act, 2016, ensuring inclusivity and compliance with the law by considering gender balance and representation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
