Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai today delivered his inaugural State of the County Address before the County Assembly

The address is one of the Governor’s mandates, outlined in Article 183(3) of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and Section 30(2) of the County Government Act No. 17 of 2012.

The address focuses on development progress made in his first year as Governor and his vision for the county under the nine-point development agenda. The Governor was received by Speaker of the County Assembly Christopher Nakuleu and Assembly Leadership.

The County boss was accompanied by Deputy Governor Dr John Erus, County Secretary Peter Eripete, and Deputy County Secretary Joseph Nyang’a, among other senior county officials.
