Robert Bob Loyelei, the new Chief Officer to the Office of the Deputy Governor has expressed his optimism to work together with the team in the office to enhance service delivery.
He is enthusiastic that is going to provide conducive working environment , while strategising to develop strategies in realisation of Governor’s transformative agenda.
Loyelei will be the first CCO in the Office of the DG, after the office has had one in the Office of the Governor in acting capacity for the last one year. The new Chief brings about a wide experience in the management public service operations. In the last regime, Loyelei served as the Deputy County Secretary for a number of years.

This follows the Governor’s Executive Order that led to the reshuffle of a section of County Executives and Chief Officers aimed at improving service delivery in the public service.
Deputy County Secretary, Joseph Nyanga oversaw the handover exercise of office from Chief Paul Lodun’ga to the incoming Chief Officer, Robert Loyelei.
During the handover, Chief Lodunga appreciated the team in the office of the Deputy Governor for a seamless working relationship. He also affirmed that the incoming CCO has been for a while in the public service and serves as an instituional memory and brings a lot of experience in the resource mobilisation docket.
DCS Nyanga congratulated the new CCO and called on him to work with the team, know their potential, develop resources strategically, and fill the existing gaps towards realising the governor’s agenda.
Present during the handover were the Dymphine Emuron (Director, Administration, Office of the Governor), Christopher Eregae (Director, Administration, Office of the Deputy Governor), Raphael Logum and Michael Aupe (Director and Deputy Director, Resource Mobilization, Partnership and Donor Coordination respectively), Peterson Erus (Assistant Director, Administration), David Lomuria and Esther Mwangi (Director and Assistant Director, Public Communications and Media Relations respectively) and Edwin Nyongesa (Accountant).
