The project aims to protect and enhance the food security, livelihoods, and nutritional outcomes of at least 24,000 individuals through animal health services. So far, 1,698 individuals in 283 households have benefitted from the intervention.

Deputy Director for Veterinary Services, Dr Erenious Nakadio said that the initiative is part of continued collaboration and partnership with our animal health stakeholders in the county.

“The PPR vaccinations in the county also contribute towards the national strategy for elimination of PPR in the country. Therefore, we call upon the rest of the partners to support such similar initiatives.” He added.
